Terms

The terms for buying and using DevTerminal, in plain words.

Your license

When you buy DevTerminal, WEXPY Technologies (OPC) Private Limited grants you a lifetime, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it on up to 3 Macs you own or use. You can move it between Macs by deactivating one and activating another. Free updates for every 1.x version.

What you can't do

  • Share, sell or publish your license key, or let others use it.
  • Redistribute DevTerminal, or modify it to get around its license check.

Buying and refunds

Purchases are processed by Polar, our merchant of record, which also handles payment, tax and receipts. If DevTerminal isn't right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of buying and you'll get the full amount back; the license key stops working once the refund goes through.

Open source

DevTerminal includes open-source software, such as SwiftTerm (MIT license). Its notices ship with the app and their licenses apply to those parts.

No warranty

DevTerminal is provided “as is”. It runs the commands your projects define on your Mac, so keep backups of work that matters. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

The rest

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We may update them, and the version posted here applies. Questions: support@devterminal.app.
